I first started taking pictures in the late 1980’s as a teenager, I would come down to the Creek near Al Fahidi Street and excitedly shoot roll after roll of Ilford FP4 on my little Minolta X300, before rushing back to Dubai College and developing the film in their little darkroom. More than 20 years later and I find myself revisiting those same places, this time with a slightly better camera and the more modern format of digital… much has changed with both the Creek and myself in that time, but it seem much has also stayed the same.
